Make the Most of Your Child's Summer Holidays

This summer, most of us are staying closer to home. As a child, home can be transformed into anything the mind can imagine, especially during the summer holidays when playing outside only expands your imaginary world.

Take Playtime Outside

Although most of this summer's adventures are close to home, packing a bag for the garden or your local park inspires the feeling of a trip out.

If you have tiny ones, don't forget to pack a swaddle and some muslin cloths in mummy's changing bag. Your swaddle can be used as a scarf for you or a blanket for your baby, a portable play mat, or a nursing cover.

Older kids can learn responsibility and gain independence through packing a few of their favourite toys, like the Kaleidoscope Camera, or a wooden animal, in a bag of their own. The Luggy basket is on wheels, so they can pull it along for a walk.

Get Creative

The best toys for youngsters are often those that come without instructions; they're versatile, beautiful, and durable.

Take the Wobbel balance board, for example. Toddlers can use it as a table, a bench, or a bed and as your child grows, they'll discover new ways to use their Wobbel

Encourage your kids to build their own world this summer with a WaytoPlay build-it-yourself rubber road.

Candylab wooden cars can drive smoothly across a bridge (supported by a Wobbel of course).
