Create a Child-Focused Study Space

Create a Child-Focused Study Space

As we face weeks of unexpected home-schooling ahead, it’s an ideal time to create a comfortable space where your child will want to spend their days. This is an excellent opportunity to curate an engaging learning environment to support your little one during a time of change. Use our suggestions to make your child-friendly working space as inviting as possible.

Consider the In2Wood desk and chair set, it is both stable and stylish. It is based on a neutral Scandi design which boasts beautiful simplicity, making it a perfect addition to any room in the house. You can place the set in the kid’s bedroom for a quiet environment, in the study alongside your own desk or in the corner of the kitchen so you can cook while they are hard at work.

The In2Wood range consists of two set sizes, one for 2-5 year-olds and the other for the bigger kids of 6-10 years old. Your little ones will love their dedicated learning space and can embrace it as their own little home-office once their school and classrooms reopen.

Once you’ve chosen their essential equipment, now move on to completing the learning environment. When we think of the school setting, we picture a room full of colour and fun, replicate this at home by hanging canvases and posters, alongside their own drawings and latest homework on your surrounding walls. Older children are drawn to the World Map as they start to study different countries and understand the plant around them. You can go beyond by introducing them to the universe through the Astronomy Canvas Poster, or explore all about Dinosaurs including the three periods in which they lived.

Young children love to have more basic, visual learning through bold and colourful prints, such as the Alphabet Canvas.
